Sharyn Gutierrez is a Filipino artist based in Winnipeg. Working interdisciplinarily, she explores the relationship between painting and photography through digital manipulations and media translations, often intersecting with video, performance, design and textiles. Her work adresses themes of girlhood, diasporic experiences, and personal history.
She is currently studying at the University of Manitoba, School of Art.
